This is where I post details
of some
of the commissions
I’ve completed.
Feel free to comment
and ask questions.

Project: Scorpion
This is Death Stalker Scorpion pendant, a commission built from Solid Sterling silver and gold. A gift for Louie’s 21st birthday from his parents. The stinger is made from solid gold melted down from his mother’s ring, so she can always be close. The eyes are Ruby. The tail and pincers are hinged and mobile…

Project: Tube Stacking Ring
This ring started life as a handful of these mushroom shaped casts. They are made by pouring Sterling silver into tapered holes pushed into clay. I used round files and specially formed thermoplastic to make a mould. …So the tubes in this Tube Ring are not tubes at all!

Project: Aphrodite Beach Stone Ring
Yes we are aware of the stones uncanny resemblance to a slug!… That was the code name of this project during lengthy consultations in my design consultation suite (pub!).

Project: Julie’s Opal and Garnet Wedding Comet.
The stones come from a ring given to her by her granny, it was high in sentimentality but low in practicality.

Project: Angel Locket
Something about this commission made me want to go a bit crazy, to make it… risky and unnecessarily complicated! I love using springs and hinges to make the locket open and move, or whatever else i can get it to do!

Project: Unbroken Memory Heart
The visual impact cuts through a lot of the BS that usually goes hand in hand with the typical ‘heart’ (btw… typical BS Hearts available in the shop now! :D)

Project: Hexmen
These little guys are Sterling silver – they come as a pendant (comes with the chain) or a pair of earrings (comes with earring hooks).

Project: Ladybird
Took nearly 6 months to complete. I suppose you could call it a memorial locket. It was built to accommodate the ashes of my clients late and much loved grannie.

Project: Monkey Nut
“…but I didn’t want to make any extra money selling replacement peanuts… what the hell am I SAYING! Doh!”

Project: Di’s Africa
“… its hard to let go as I even try them out as part of the chain. But you still have to experiment and take a few risks.”

Project: Blue Trident Earrings
“…Why not put more detail into the wax model if you don’t want to file then Pete? ..I hear you ask. Well, there is a …”

Project: Twisted Key
“… because imagining a 3 dimensional shape is never quite as good as seeing it taking form in your hands… and I am capable of woeful whittling. 😉”

Project: Galaxy Ruby Rings
“…so freed from the shackles of practicality I decided to make this ring showy and kind of flamboyant….”

Project: Mandy’s Heart Locket
“…Love this little paw print, it will get better with age as the recessed parts oxidise making the raised pads stand out even more…”

Project: Blue Trident Cuff
“However, adding more metal at this point would have pushed the weight to medieval torture levels… “

Project: Size matters!
I’ve always said I’m not keen on making small dainty jewellery, might be pushing the limit with this one! – However, I’m certain that if you make a necklace like this fit the wearer perfectly it will feel comfortable. Maybe not for a sprinter, and a hurdler would definitely have sore shins but for an…

Rebecca’s Elephant
Every year I make my nieces charms for their birthdays, this year Rebecca’s is an elephant… Why not. I do worry one year I might run out of ideas… “Mummy, why’s Uncle Pete given me a silver potato?” ! …”Don’t complain! – your sister got a worm!”
